I'm Sammie. I'm an EMT and single mama. My boyfriend is great help with my daughter though. My brother plays for the Kansas City Royals and is on fire this year. Family is important to me followed by wine. Can't ever have too much wine.

Do you guys remember mixtapes? I'm talkin` old school mixtapes -- cassette, people. Those things were labors of love. You had to wait around forever for a certain song to come on the radio and most of the time the recording you'd get would have the beginning of a radio station call attached to it just because you wanted to make sure you got the whole song. Maybe some of you are too young for that, but regardless, if you were to make one nowadays -- what would be your pièce de résistance? Everyone has that one song that is pretty much the inspiration for the entire mixtape. The 'you gotta hear this' song. What'da be yours? I'd probably go with, at least currently: 11-17, by Kevin Devine.

Recently I dyed my hair bright pink. Totally out of the norm/out of my comfort zone.

What is something you have done out of your comfort zone lately or in the past?

So happy that my girlfriend finally has gotten here, I'm man enough to admit I've missed her like crazy and that it hasn't been the same without her pretty face around. My daughter is pretty excited too for many reasons but I think she just misses having another female around, plus I'm not that great of cook so with Val here that means we all eat better. What is something, or someone that has you excited lately?

Have you ever had one of those days where ever little thing just gets on your last nerve? Whether it be your room mate snoring so you can't sleep, down to the way the wind is blowing from the east and not the west? For some reason little things are just irking my normally positive upbeat nature day. Give me a way to get out of this funk.

Living the dream right now playing ball in Los Angeles and couldn't ask for more out of life. That's how I feel right now so to keep this short and sweet tell me are you living your dream right now? My name's Lindy and I suck at first introductions, like hard core suck here. It really is amazing I'm married considering that. However we met in high school and kind of reconnected years later and we all made better introductions in high school right? Anyway rambling aside I just got home from work and am exhausted but my youngest refuses to accept that. So tell me what are some tricks to helping calm the kiddos down when you're just too tired?

This move comes while I'm seven months pregnant with twins in the dead of summer. I'm not complaining though, actually I am happy it's closer to where my husband plays ball and I'll be able to see him more, plus my best friend in the entire world moved as well with her new babies and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
